[IPHINT Editor’s Note]

Many creators feel a sense of helplessness because it is "nearly impossible to track" exactly where and how their work is being used. To solve this frustration, IPHINT has introduced Digital Fingerprinting technology, which detects even the subtlest modifications invisible to the naked eye.

By going beyond simple visual similarity and tracking the unique "DNA" of each work, we ensure that even the most cleverly edited cases of theft do not go unnoticed.

Are you feeling proud of that perfect logo created after tweaking Midjourney prompts hundreds of times, or those stunning AI-generated product images? Your pride might be met with a cold response from the law.

Recently, U.S. federal courts and the Copyright Office rejected Stephen Thaler’s request to register an AI-generated work, and Jason Allen’s famous AI-winning artwork was also denied copyright protection. The legal logic is clear: "If it wasn't created by a human, there is no copyright."

Why is this so alarming?

It means that even if you’ve built a unique brand identity using AI, you have little legal ground to punish a competitor who simply screenshots your images and posts them on their own site. Your hard-earned brand assets essentially become "public property" that anyone can use without consequence.

To make matters worse, the original copyright holders of the images the AI trained on could suddenly file a lawsuit against you. While technology evolves at the speed of light, the legal shield to protect your designs remains hollow. Unless you have a strategy to secure your rights while using AI, your business is nothing more than a house built on sand.
